Last Day to save: Register today for Fall Rec & avoid late fees!

REGISTER before 7/31/21 to avoid the LATE FEE!!   And, yes, that's TOMORROW!

WHAT!!  Are you kidding?  August?!?  Already?!?  Can't be!  I don't believe it - is that on Facebook yet?  How did this happen?  It was just June!  Where's the July humidity and heat?!

We KNOW!!!!

We can't believe it either, but we checked ... and it's true!  Not sure how it happened but, apparently all of these July Showers caused a shift in the cosmic balance, resulting in the calendar moving forward faster than usual, and August has decided to arrive even sooner than expected!!  Honest ... we wouldn't lie.  We read it on the internet :o)

But - fear not!  We're here to remind you that you still have a day or so left to register for Fall Rec soccer with NO late fees!!

See that?  A bright, shining light in an otherwise sea of sadness as we all realize that the summer is (gasp) half over :o(

We are pleased to announce that registration for the Fall 2021 Rec Soccer seasonis NOW OPEN!

There are three recreational soccer programs players can register and participate this fall given their age, commitment and skill level:

1.    Tiny Tots (introductory level, group format, basic skills and exercise - children, typically around the age of 2 to 3)

2.    RECREATION (non-competive soccer experience, in town, U6 to U10, approximately age 4 through 9, FALL season)

3.    INTER-TOWN RECREATION (slightly competive soccer experience, inter-town play for U12 to U18, approximately age 10 through 17, FALL season, some potential for a separate SPRING season

Please click on the following link to register your player today!

IMPORTANT!

Registration closed on 8/15/2021

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

· All PLAYER PROFILES must be completed fully and accurately

o   MANDATORY: a parent email address and mobile phone number needs to be associated to a player profile for communication - Parents should not opt out of email communications if their child is registered, as this prevents ALL emails from reaching you.  Please ensure that your profile information is up to date

· You must pay on-line using a credit card at the time of registration

o   Your player will NOT be considered registered if payment is not made

o   Unpaid registrations will be removed from the system and players will not be selected nor placed on a team, regardless of age or program

· ALL Fees are non-refundable with exception of INJURY (prorated)

· NOTE: WSA will consider reasonable requests for teammates, practice times, etc. for our In-Town recreation program but will not guarantee these requests for any reason.  We are happy to make reasonable accomodations if possible, assuming they do not affect the fair and equitable assignment of team rosters.

· WSA has a Code of Conduct that all players, coaches, and parents are responsible for understanding and adhering too.  This is a Zero Tolerance policy for ALL coaches, players and parents at ALL times with no exceptions.

· WSA as an organization will adhere to any and all guidelines in effect by the State of NH and/or the New Hampshire Soccer Assocation (NHSA)/New Hampshire Socccer League (NHSL) throughout the season

Lastly, the Windham Soccer Association relies solely on volunteers from the community to run the league. If you are interested in being a head coach or an assistant coach, please indicate so on your child’s registration form. All coaches must complete the Kid Safe form prior to coaching.  Any questions regarding volunteering can be directed to the VP of Recreation, Kim Devries, at   or to the WSA President Jamie Manti,  .  A coach’s clinic is often offered prior to the beginning of the season, and a professional trainer will be there to work with the various teams at their practices each week!

IMPORTANT: Please note that the number of teams offered in each Division depends directly upon the number of volunteer coaches we receive.  All teams need to have a Head Coach and an Assistant Coach.  Unfortunately, if we are not able to get enough coaches, we may be forced to reduce the number of teams as well as the total number of players who are able to play on a first come, first served basis.

Griffin Park Entrance and Exit

Good afternoon!  We hope everyone is ready to enjoy the long holiday weekend ...

Just a quick reminder from the town, who is currently working on adding additional signage and working with the Windham PD to increase patrols and awareness:

For those of you using Griffin Park – please note that traffic is ONE WAY - there is SINGLE entrance, and a SINGLE exit

The sole Entrance is the one closest to Johnson’s Farm, and applies to both lanes of the parking lot.  Due to safety, we want to remind you not to enter through the exit.

Please remind family members who might be visiting the Park for the day as well as help spread the word to any visiting teams, as we are extremely concerned about the safety of our residents, especially our kids, in the parking lot.

Thank you!

WSA Summer Camp Registrations are Open

Hard to believe, but we're talking about summer camps!!

We're happy to say that this year we will be returning to the great outdoors with our traditional summer camps, with the appropriate CDC/State of NH COVID-19 guidelines and Protocols in place for the safety of all.

Please visit our Sumer Camps page for more information and links to the registrations!  These camps are fun for the kids, a great way to get some touch time with the ball in the "off season" and a super way to support WSA as the summer camps are great fundraisers for the club!

SUMMER CAMPS

Be safe - we'll see you soon!
